On 16^th August 2023, the participants of the summer traineeship of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Bielsko-Biala visited the Historical Museum in Bielsko-Biała Sulkowski Dukes’ Castle.

Our guests from Turkey had a chance to see all the exhibitions presented at the castle: archaeological, historical, artistic, of military and hunting, ending with the current temporary exhibition. They have acquainted themselves with the history of our city and region, particularly with the history of the Dukes of Bielsko from the ducal family of Sułkowscy. The biggest attraction were the models presenting early stage of development of the city of Bielsko and the castle itself in Medieval and Renaissance times.

After the visit to the museum, our guests were invited to a brunch, during which they could taste well known meals of the Polish cuisine: Lithianian cold soup (chłodnik litewski) and pierogi.
